Accu-Chek Performa Control Solution 4ml is used when running a control test on blood meter. Performa Accu-Chek Quality control checks for Accu-Chek Performa metres and Accu-Chek Performa test strips are performed with control solution. The control pack includes two control solutions: one for hypoglycemia (glucose control solution 1, blue cap) and one for hyperglycemia (glucose control solution 2, red cap) . When you open a new package of test strips, replace the battery, clean your metre, or if your blood test result does not agree with how you feel, you can do a quality control check using Accu-Chek Performa Control Solution 4ml to assess the performance of your blood glucose metre.
