Description
In the presence of organic matter, Bells Hydrogen Peroxide has an antibacterial effect because the liberated oxygen is minimised. In concentrations of up to 6%, it is used to clean wounds and ulcers. A solution of hydrogen peroxide can be used to dissolve adhering and blood-soaked dressings. For the treatment of cuts, wounds, and superficial skin damage as a gargle or mouthwash (abrasions). A 1.5 percent solution has been utilised as a mouthwash and a deodorant gargle in the treatment of acute stomatitis.
